Mitzi von Munsenberg is an adorable, smaller sized 10 month old sable Shepherd mix. Her foster mom refers to Mitzi as “Z” and reports that the sweet girl has just about stolen her heart! Mitzi walks great on leash and grins from ear to ear when another dog joins in on the walk. She adores and respects her big brother Shepherd, following him around and imitating his antics. Mitzi is housebroken, crate-trained (sometimes hanging out in there without being told to) and not much of a barker. She does have some remnants of puppy chewing but is very responsive to correction. Mitzi lies down when she eats, puts her paw in her water bowl when she drinks and loves to chase squirrels and dig in the backyard. Her foster mom says “she never ceases to put a smile on my face.” Sweet Mitzi can still be frightened of new situations and loud noises, and is still learning to like car rides. She will do best in a kind, patient home that will watch her blossom into the spunky girl her best friends know, and where there is an existing doggy sibling for companionship.
